Intricate Lace

After an extremely stressful work week I came home to find my beautiful scarf from Greta in the mail. I was on my way out of town and took it with me to show it off to all of my family and friends who admired it as much as I do. The wonderful "hat box" that it came in is amazing. It had (please note past tense) chocolates tucked inside as well. The scarf color is perfect. It matches three quarters of the items in my wardrobe. But it's more than that -- it is a beautiful piece of lace. I stared at it for many minutes just trying to imagine how one would work on such a delicate, complicated and intricate pattern. I am amazed and dazzled. It would make a lovely table runner. This experience has been so much fun and I feel like I've made new friends as well. Thank you Greta, the scarf and hat box are spectacular.

If you continue to do more with this read along and exchange - or something similar to do with Agatha Christie or mysteries in general - I would love to be considered to join. This seems like it must have been a great experience.
